If you plan your holiday and do not want to use excessive budget, Saranda is the perfect idea. Low prices in every corner store, where you will find almost everything necessary to fill up a family fridge.
In family markets you will buy fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, milk and many other products, which are produced by local farmers and not imported like in Polish markets. If you want to taste the real tomatoes again, just like they were when you were young, you will have a true feast for the palate.
As befits the tourist city, restaurants, cafes and bars are always more expensive. We do not have to fear extremely high prices though. Coffee costs about 150 ALL, which is approximately 1,5 EURO, similar to beer, soup is 250 ALL, which is 2 EURO, while pizza costs about 600 ALL, which is 5 EURO.
If we crave seafood, we need to be prepared for a little bit higher price – approximately 1000 ALL, which is 8,5 EURO. As you can see, prices are quite low. If you plan family holiday, the prices of food products in shops and restaurants will not be overwhelming.
